BUS
For large groups the best way to get to River Runners is to charter a bus. River Runners can arrange this through the largest charter company in the USA. Their restroom equipped, air-conditioned, modern buses leave from any location you choose. The buses have video monitors that show movies along the way.
PLANE
Sacramento International Airport is about a one hour drive from our camp. Car rentals are available at the airport.
From SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Take the 405 North towards Sacramento. It turns into Interstate 5. Go North towards Sacramento. At Sacramento turn off onto Highway 50 East towards South Lake Tahoe. Go about 30 miles. After passing Cameron Park, look for the sign saying "Shingle Springs- 1 mile". Exit at the next offramp which is Ponderosa Road, Exit # 37. After exiting, turn left and cross over the freeway and immediately turn right at the light onto N. Shingle Road. This road will become Lotus Road. Follow this road for about 10 miles to the stop sign where you will turn left. This is Bassi Road. Go one mile to the Camp Lotus entrance on the right. Please drive slowly on Bassi Road.
Upon arrival, check in at the Camp Lotus Store. Check-in time is after 2:00 P.M
The drive should take anywhere from 6 1/2 hours to 7 1/2 hours with stops.
From SAN FRANCISCO,CA.
Take I-80 East towards Sacramento. In Sacramento turn off onto Highway 50 East towards South Lake Tahoe. Go about 30 miles. From SOUTH LAKE TAHOE,NV.
Take Highway 50 west towards Placerville/ Sacramento. In Placerville, turn onto Highway 49 North. In around 9 miles you will go through Coloma. Shortly after turn left onto Lotus Road. If you cross a bridge, you went too far. Turn right at the first stop sign. This is Bassi Road. Go one mile to the Camp Lotus entrance on the right. Please drive slowly on Bassi Road.
Upon arrival, check in at the Camp Lotus Store. Check-in time is after 2:00 P.M
Driving time should be less than two hours.
From Sacramento Airport
