We believe in investing our time, energy and money into the communities in which we live and work to contribute to the lives of those around us. Although we are just a small busines we know that every little bit helps! That is why we are very proud to support the following community programs.
River Runners is a proud supporter of CASA El Dorado.
Over the last 3 years we have contributed multiple river trips for silent auctions that raise funds for CASA. Thanks to our partnership Van Pelt, Yi and James we have also welcomed CASA advocates and kids to River Runners for completely sponsored river trips that have proven to be an invaluable experience for the kids. River Runners is a proud sponsor of American Whitewater.
Founded in 1954, American Whitewater is a national non-profit organization with a mission “to conserve and restore America's whitewater resources and to enhance opportunities to enjoy them safely.” The organization is the primary advocate for the preservation and protection of whitewater rivers throughout the United States, and connects the interests of human-powered recreational river users with ecological and science-based data to achieve the goals within its mission. River Runners participates in and organizes River Clean Ups.
Unfortunately, not everyone cares about rivers like we do but all it takes is a little elbow grease and a day out on the river to take care of that!
