Come Join River Runners Rafting Camp!
River Runners is proud to offer it's own extraordinary set of youth rafting camps on the South Fork of the American River. Welcome to RIVER KIDSÂ Overnight Camp!
River Runners has specialized in family trips and kids adventures for over 50 years. In 2025, we are offering children's whitewater rafting camps in our own unique way.
At River Runners, it's all about river philosophy. Our team is dedicated to fun, safety, education, and teamwork. It's a balance, and that's what we want to share with your children.

- Tent rental (one tent per two people)
- Three days of on-river activities
- All taxes and fees
- Children may camp only if accompanied by a parent or guardian
- All campers must raft all three days of this trip
How it works
RIVER KIDS are split up into two age groups:
- Explorers: For children aged 6-9. They will typically enjoy the class II Bio Bio Run (also known as the C to G).
- Voyagers: For children aged 10-16. They typically run the Gorge on the first day of camp, and Chili Bar on the second day.
After breakfast, overnight RIVER KIDS will join the RIVER KIDS day camp students and be placed into their appropriate age groups for rafting instruction and fun on the river with their peers.
View the RIVER KIDS daily itinerary.
Everyone then joins back together at the end of the day's adventure to share stories and enjoy a meal.
Children may camp only if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Family and friends may choose to camp and raft as well, or camp on their own without rafting. Please call to book your customized trip.
